We are absolutely spoiled for choice in Australia with an ever emerging array eclectic music and life style festivals right on our door step. 

We've short listed 5 of our favorites and encourage everyone to explore the pure magic embedded deep within each of these artistic gems. 


Held in January and located in Lexton Victoria, this festival is the ultimate collection of the arts, performers, installations, bazaar and DJs that are guaranteed to exceed even the highest of festival desires. Attracting up to ten thousand people each year this festival is nestled right along side some of Victoria's most beautiful bush-land making it the perfect backdrop from each of the stunning dance floors. Expanding upon its trance beginnings, Rainbow now has a broad range of music styles to so you're sure to find something that will make you want boogie from dusk to dawn. Well planned camping sites surround the festival grounds with some of the most stunning camp decoration efforts you'll see throughout the festival scene. A genuinely beautiful festival emphasizing the bringing together of all things special about the human spirit.

Located in the North Byron Parklands New South Wales, Spendour is one of Australia's most celebrated music festival events of the year. Boasting some of the biggest line-ups in the business, in one of the country's most beautiful landscapes, this festival promises to be an experience like no other. In addition to a killer set of DJs to please, exploration of local art works is a key theme for this event. Spendour is family friendly and kids under 12 can enter free of charge. If you're planning to stay onsite, Spendour has all your camping needs covered. There is a comprehensive list of facilities available onsite including; buses in to town, mobile charging stations, cloak, bars, eats, hot showers and even a "little spendour" for the kids with baby sitting services available.

Held in Victoria's picturesque Lake Mountain Apline Resort, Gay Times is the must experience queer event of the year. The festival brings a weekend of LGBTIQ culture, music, eccentric performers, arts and all things wholesome for the body, mind and spirit. You can camp under the starts or glamp it with the festivals pre-arranged accommodation facilities. This unique event is a collaboration of all things good about doof and glitter with a touch of fabulous.

GTM offers a stack of options when it comes to finding an event that's in arms reach of wherever you're from. Whether it be Oakbank, Bunbury, Bendigo, Canberra, Maitland, and Townsville this iconic Australia music festival is quickly becoming one of the scenes most anticipated events of the year. Filled with incredible lines-ups this festival brings together tunes from the well known to some of the industries most promising emerging artists for a day that's certain to satisfy. Need to rest the ears and belt out a classic ballot? GTM even offers a 'Heaps Gay Milk Bar' filled with good vibes, DJs playing all the classics and drag queens sporting all thing that sparkle.

Something to keep a very close eye on is the launch of FestivalX. Hitting stages in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne (and Auckland NZ) at the end of 2019, FestivalX is the collaboration of some of the music industries biggest heavy weights. Presented by Hardware, Onelove and Live Nation this festival has already announced all the big names like Calvin Harris, Armin Van Buuren and Lil Pump just to name a few. The day event aims to showcase artists from across the world and within Australia, to fans right across the Eastern seaboard. We cannot wait to sink out teeth in to this event coming soon!
